About

with 3 comments

This is a site I use to express my personal opinions and analysis of politics and current events.

I’m writing as often as I can, although I’m extremely busy. There’s so much happening right now with the election, and it’s mainly what I’ve been paying attention to, as far as current events are concerned. Since the idea of this blog is to cover stories which get less coverage in the mainstream media than they should, to clarify stories which are presented in a muddled or confusing way, or to offer a viewpoint on current events which is not already part of the public discourse, while I am writing a lot about the election at the moment, I’m trying to do so with that goal in mind, and only mention common talking points as a reference and a way of framing my arguments.

The general idea of the blog is to analyze current events from my perspective and to point out some underreported stories, give some old relevant stories a second chance, and try to provide an angle on a story that the media may be ommitting. If you stumble onto my page, leave a comment and let me know what you think. If you like it, tell a friend.

I will attempt to regularly update this site, although I don’t have a bunch of extra time lying around so don’t expect daily essays.

March 9: It’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to write here, I had to replace my hard drive and write stuff that I actually get paid for. Computer is much better, so to all of you nonexistent readers, my hiatus is over.

  1. Well anyways you’ve got another nonexistent reader. I’m trawling through your older stuff and find it very interesting. Keep up the good work.

  2. Thanks very much for the encouragement. A note on updates:

I am extremely busy and do not have much time to write the short essay length blog entries that I like to use. I would say that if you check back once every week or two, you’ll probably generally find something new. If I’m able to write more often, I’ll update the About page with that or any other general information.
